Guru.com Sucks

Another random thought. Guru.com fucking sucks. :-) It is the worst. I have casually kept an eye on it for over a year now. When I see interesting projects, I put in a bid. Sometimes, I put in extremely low bids just for something to do. I never get responses.

The other suckiness about it is people ask for things like follows:

Need to convert Palm-based chat application to J2ME and re-write backend. Bids must be between $250 and $500.

And that's pretty light. They ask for all sorts of medium- to large-projects and offer to pay crap. So, in the end, what you don't get is a "Guru," you get a 12-year-old who needs some extra money for Grand Theft Auto IV.
