A sterling example of why it is good for America that he is looooooooooooooong gone:
"Guns have little or nothing to do with juvenile violence. The causes of youth violence are working parents who put their kids into daycare, the teaching of evolution in the schools, and working mothers who take birth control pills."
He said this in 1999. He was talking about the cause of the Columbine High School massacre.

Amazing. It's hard to fathom how a human mind could construct a sentence like that. I guess there's one good thing, Tom DeLay proves conclusively that the human race is not a product of Intelligent Design.
If the propane tanks would have blown, the guns would have been last thing on peoples minds.
