Avatara: A Little Sexier

Michele worked her magic by drawing a new chess set for Avatara. This is the first time Michele has gotten involved which proves Avatara is real. ;-) The pieces are much more defined, and I love the colors. The pastel board is a bit thematic, but we'll work it into a matching set later. For now, the game is much more playable. The Pawn Promotion dialog is MUCH better as well.

Young Dems meeting last night. Andy Kerr showed up, the newest member of the Colorado House. He replaced Betty Boyd, who moved to the Senate. We're also getting set for the April 29th walk. :-)

This weekend, and next week, are gonna be a bit of a rush. Firstly, tomorrow morning I have a dentist appointment. Then, the workday will go swimmingly as the office is closed for a floating holiday -- though I am working. Tomorrow night we take Michele's parents out for dinner...it's her Mom's birthday! (Actually, it is today.) Saturday, we have dinner with Jackie and Bonnie at Claim Jumper, and then Sunday we go to see Riverdance! Whoo! Also, going to the In-Laws' for Easter dinner.

Next week, Tuesday, is Michele and I's second anniversary! Yeah for us! :-) Wednesday,w e head downtown to meet Markos from the Daily Kos!!!! Sweet! The Young Dems will get a picture with him. :-) Then Friday, we hang out with the really nice, but DDR-hatin', Munhalls and friends for the Restaurant Review Club! ;-)

Whew...good thing we're resting tonight. :-)

As the unofficial official beta tester of Avatara, I must say that I think it's going to be a fine app once it's completed. Just what I need... more chess.

Hey, looking forward to the "chess" party.

When are we doing DDR? Friday or Thursday, and I resubmitted my taxes by e-file and walla 24 hours later they were accepted. Yea, mission accomplished.
