Cindy Calls It a Good Run; Gonna Take Care of Herself Now

posted by John Blanco @ 9:22 PM

Cindy Sheehan ended a long run today of selfless fight against this Iraq War. She is finally going to take care of herself, her own health, her own bills, and her own family. She had a great run, and will be missed.

She has announced her protest is over on Daily Kos.

Update: CNN is now carrying the story here. (Ironically, I just featured Daily Kos in yesterday's blog. I told you it was the biggest political blog out there!)

Cindy, Read your comments about the future. You son was a warrior and he died for something "HE" thought was worthwhile. I find his death meaningful because I had the same thoughts and one time. You had your ideas and they are different from his. Well, you can be grateful we live in a country where it'd possible to have different ideas because of MEN like your son. He's not special just normal, like the ones that came before, and did what was necassary to secure Liberty. It's a great way to live.....Even if it's hard to do...

Cindy's some went to battle for his guys. Soldiers are brave and anti-war protestors understand that. They are doing THEIR JOB. They are helping to keep their team safe.

It's the mission that is the responsibility of the Commander-In-Chief. Cindy loves her son and his courage. She just doesn't believe he should have been sent to Iraq. That is the issue.

With no WMD to be found and a more insecure region than when it started, she's right. Absolutely right. That is fact.

What makes her outraged is her belief that Bush knew it was a lie to begin with. And I agree with her.
