Trachsel Kills Mojo in Game 3

Steve Trachsel put up the king of all stinkers last night. Again. He's likely bought his ticket out of New York as he's a free agent next year.

He gave up 5 runs on 1 IP, was knocked out by a line drive back in the leg, and walked off steaming and fuming and pathetic. I don't feel bad for him. We needed a great game from him, and he gave us a joke of a performance in such a big game.

Mets are down 2 games to 1, with *gulp* Carlos Perez tomorrow. Game 4 will either be the beginning of the end for us with a terrible Perez pitching, or a shocking comeback to even the series with a terrible Perez pitching a surprising gem.

Suppan was unhittable tonight. Hopefully, we don't get his duplicate tomorrow!
