Sleepytime Tea

Celestial Seasonings is a tea-maker. We took the free tour and it was quite excellent. The smell of the tea was amazing, and overpowering. The tour guide showed us where the tea is milled (what a mess!), mixed, packaged, and stored.

They actually store the team in specific rooms, because the tea smells can mix very easily through the air. One room is devoted completely to spearamint and peppermint. I swear, you'd think you were gonna die in there -- it was like having candy canes stuffed into each nostril. Wait, no....OK, maybe 20 candy canes stuffed into each nostril. :-)

They also offer free samples of lots of tea varieties...and the gift shops are well-stocked, if you want a $3.50 chocolate bar.
